How to conduct effective Meetings

24 Jun 2020

The success of a  meetings depends on the  ability of each individual member of a group  to communicate with the rest of the group as a whole.Over the years in my corporate life , the word" Meeting " will ring you as wasted time and boredom. I had personally come across people turning down meeting invite citing excuses and seen displeasure in the eyes of invitees. There are several reasons for meetings failings. One is that they are held at regular intervals for no particular reason. Some times there are too many people present to make an effective decisions. To set a successful meeting , you need to plan well.

The planning process involves five important questions

1. Why have a meeting at all?

2. What type of meeting is called for?

3.Who should be asked to participate?

4.Where should be the meeting held ?

5.When should it be held?

Planning with above questions will really help to set the stage for a effective meetings.
