My fascination of relating the management tools, concepts and models to everyday life has this time brought me to a wonderful tool. Business Model Canvas ( courtesy: www.strategyzer.com). Primarily this is a pictorial model that helps in understanding the Nine building blocks of a Business. The Business Model Canvas is an amazing tool coz it helps in understanding all the aspects of running a business successfully. Now, you might feel what does a core business model has to do with our lives. Well directly nothing, but it did inspire me into thinking and develop a Life Model Canvas, building blocks towards a life we all have aspired for.

These eight header encompasses all the aspects of our life and therefore are the building blocks. The questions that one can use to ponder over these headers are more on lines of conducting an introspection and getting a clear picture of the life we are leading and we want to lead.

Let us try using it and figure out where we really need to pay more attention and design an action plan for it.
