NO INTELLIGENT SPECIES WOULD DESTROY THEIR OWN ENVIRONMENT.....

So why are we humans doing it?????????

Why don’t we care for our own environment?????????

Is it because we have taken our mother earth for granted or is it that we just don’t care about it?????????

Human action has triggered a vast cascade of environmental problems that now threaten the continued ability of both natural and human systems to flourish. Solving the critical environmental problems of global warming, water scarcity, pollution and biodiversity loss are perhaps the greatest challenges of the 21stcentury. Will we rise to meet them??

Human beings have been polluting the environment with harmful materials on a regular basis since the very beginning. All forms and every area of our environment is polluted by human activities.

In spite of bringing so much of awareness and the need to protect our environment there has still been a lot of environmental damage due to improper use of things causing a lot of disruptions in the natural balance of our ecosystem.

Control of pollution doesn’t mean abandonment of existing human activities, it means to dispose any form of waste appropriately, reordering, recycling or restructuring the whole process with technology and knowledge to the advantage of our environment.

The presence of strict laws and the pollution boards and their efforts to limit the release of harmful substances into the environment should be appreciated. But unfortunately attempts at pollution control are often surpassed by the scale of the problem. Things can fall in place only if there is an appropriate international standard with a holistic approach and the need for every country to apply them universally and at the earliest.

Though pollution is a global problem and requires environmental, political and economic initiative. We as individuals and common people can have a greater influence as citizens. Once we are aware that it is a social problem, the need to address our own consumption and disposal of waste becomes necessary. We should make an effort to pay attention to combat pollution in our own small ways starting with our home and surroundings.

If we all work together towards the common goal of protecting our environment it will surely help the future generation to a large extent.

“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make.”
